Artificial Insemination in Swine Production workshop will be held March 9 - 10 in Waseca, MN. Topics covered include anatomy and physiology, heat detection and breeding, A.I techniques, sow nutrition, semen handling and reproductive problem solving.

Cost: $100 per person; Additional participants from the same production system or farm may register for $50 each.

The workshop will provide participants a better understanding of the factors necessary to successfully breed females using artificial insemination techniques.
The workshop is designed for both those who have limited knowledge of breeding swine, as well as experienced pork producers who wish to review the basics and troubleshoot reproduction challenges.
